KVS TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) pay scale is Level 7 with a starting basic pay of Rs. 44,900 per month. With DA and allowances, the gross CTC is approximately Rs. 6–7 lakhs per annum. Job comes with stability, Dearness Allowance revisions, and a defined-benefit pension.
Is CTET mandatory for KVS recruitment?+
Yes. CTET qualification is mandatory for TGT (Paper II) and PRT (Paper I) posts. PGT posts do not require CTET but require a post-graduate degree and B.Ed.
