Is CTET a permanent certificate?+

Yes. From 2021, the CTET qualification certificate is valid for lifetime. Previously it was valid for 7 years, but NCTE amended this to make it permanent.

What jobs can I get with CTET?+

CTET qualifies you to apply as a teacher in Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVS), Navodaya Vidyalayas (NVS), Central Tibetan Schools, and Sainik Schools. Many state governments also accept CTET for state-level teacher recruitment in lieu of their own TET.

How many times is CTET conducted per year?+

CBSE typically conducts CTET once or twice a year. In recent years, it has been held in July and December. Check the official CTET portal for the latest schedule.
